The new Twitter.com is rolling out to all users. Twitter has been testing its new website for some time, but has finally decided it’s fit for purpose. The redesign is intended to make Twitter.com look better, be easier to use, and be more customizable.

, and let Twitter know what they thought of it. Twitter has since used this feedback to tweak the design and add new features.
The Best Things About the New Twitter.com
In a post on the Twitter Blog, Twitter has now formally launched its new homepage. The new Twitter.com looks better, makes Twitter’s best features easier to access, and introduces more customization options.
The biggest change is the new and improved sidebar. Trends for You and Who to Follow have been replaced with top-level menu items. These include Notifications, Messages, Bookmarks, Lists, Profile, and the Explore tab, which is where you’ll discover new content.
The Explore tab is new to Twitter.com, having made its way across from its apps. According to Twitter, this means you can “expect more live video and local moments personalized for wherever you are in the world.” Which should prove useful.

Other improvements include the option to see and send Direct Messages in one view, the option to switch between accounts from the sidebar, and new customization options such as themes, colors, and the Dim and Lights Out dark modes.
